Once
a batch has been ‘Scanned’ and ‘Edit/Verified’, items are
immediately available for retrieval. Unlike
microfilmed archives, ImageArchive is able to instantly make
available all scanned items; no film develop or chemicals to handle,
images are automatically indexed and available for retrieval via any
combination the available index fields; Serial or Check number,
Routing, Transit, Bank and Account numbers, Transaction Code,
Amount, Batch Name, Batch Number, Clearing Date or Scan Date.
For further retrieval flexibility, the Search Parameters screen
allows “wildcard" searches on all fields in addition to
Boolean range searches using the Amount, Scan Date or Clearing Date
fields.
Wildcard searching is useful when you are uncertain of exact values.
For example; to find an account numbers ending in 789, you
would simply enter *789 as the account criteria.
Boolean searches are particularly useful in finding a range
of items. For example;
a Boolean search would be utilised to locate all items between $125
to $130.00 that were scanned between January 1st and 15th.
