The CD Creation module (standard with IA Professional) permits you to archive scanned items to offline CD media by Batch Type for any given Date Range.  The the 'CD Content Options' interface permits you to define which batches to burn to CD, while the Database Extraction display keeps a running total of the available space remaining on your CD.  CD Creation is directly integrated with ImageArchive's Image and Data Maintenance module which is tasked with tracking and removing batches that have been successfully archived to CD as required.

A regular 650 MB compact disk is capable of holding approximately 20,000 to 25,0000 tiff images of permanent data in addition to ImageArchive’s unlimited runtime ‘CD Search’ installation software. CD Search can be installed royalty free on any workstation wishing to perform a search on a CD’s contents.  The ‘look and feel’ CD Search is virtually identical to the Search Parameter and Search Results screens found in ImageArchive, so there is no new software to learn.
As an added benefit, printing, faxing and emailing of document can be performed directly from the Search Results window via Print or Email buttons located on the main toolbar.

The CD Creation module comes complete with every IA Professional installation and is available as an add-in module for the IA Standard version.
